StepUp Scholars is a children-focused English learning platform dedicated to helping young learners speak English with confidence, clarity, and fluency. About Course
Phonics
Phonics is a method of teaching reading where children learn the sounds of letters and letter groups to read and spell words correctly. It is important because it builds strong decoding skills, improves pronunciation, and helps children become confident, fluent readers.
Vocabulary
Vocabulary is the collection of words a person knows and uses in speaking, reading, and writing. It is important because strong vocabulary improves communication, enhances reading comprehension, and helps learners express their ideas clearly and confidently.
Spoken
Spoken English refers to the ability to communicate using English through speaking and listening in real-life situations. It is important because strong speaking skills help learners express their thoughts clearly, build confidence, improve communication, and connect with people globally for study, work, and daily life.
